If you are looking to buy dog/puppy think twice before you go the petshop, consider choosing what we will have here. . Every year thousands of dogs are put down in shelters across Australia. To help reduce numbers of strays abandoned unwanted dogs consider adopting ones you find here if they in your state or locality. If you are trying to find a home for your dog contact us at dogaid@hotmail.com and provide us with information about your dog( sex, age, spayed, neutered, microchipped, whether suitable with children, other dogs etc.location state.your contact details) and we will post it here on our site. All information posted will be at the discretion of the owner of the dog. DogAid will only be considered a medium between the person looking to find a home for their dog and the person wishing to adopt the dogs on our site. DogAid accepts no responsibility from either party. Our service is currently available only in Australia. IFollowing services - where you can adopt a pet. 1) Animal Re-Homing Service in Australia (Victoria)- contact Michaela Newell every week she publishes a report on animals that need a home if you are looking for particular a breed to adopt contact her and she can let you know animals that are in need michaelanewell@bigpond.com 2) Drought Dog Program (Victoria)- Contact Trisha for details on dogs that are desperately needing homes vicdrg@optusnet.com.au They are also desperate for foster carers. Drivers from Bendigo to Melbourne on weekends are required. Trisha also sends out a list with pictures of dogs needing adoption, or if you want to help by fostering a dog or help with transportation Contact Trisha on the above email. 3) Pet Rescue (AUSTRALIA WIDE) www.petrescue.com.au - here also provides a great site where you can adopt a dog or a cat.
